Event Grants

In partnership with the City of Muscatine, we are pleased to offer two grant opportunities for events taking place in Muscatine.

MARKETING GRANT

To help market events taking place in Muscatine that will draw in tourists, we offer grants for up to $1,000 towards a marketing package with KWQC.  Marketing must target individuals living outside of Muscatine and funds are paid directly to KWQC.

EVENT GRANT

This reimbursable Community Event Grant/Sponsorship is available on a tiered basis for up to $10,000.
Priority is given to events that will draw in visitors and/or improve quality of life for residents and expenses that will enhance the event.

Items eligible for reimbursement:
•Marketing & Advertising
•Signage
•Activity Supplies
•Entertainers
•Professional Event Photographers
•Items to help enhance the event

Approved Community Event Grant/Sponsorship applicants will need to submit a follow up report, including receipts, to receive funds.
