Iowa artist Grant Wood grew up near Cedar Rapids, Iowa, and spent most of his life in the area, painting scenes of the Midwest, from farm landscapes, to portraits of farmers, and more. In the early 1920s when Grant Wood wasn’t yet a household name across the United States, he often produced 3D objects that were whimsical and clever in nature, following in the tradition of the European “Dada” movement. Explore a different side to Grant Wood’s imagination by creating your own “planted” artwork.
