Jeffrey S. Copeland will present about the research he conducted for his book, “Shell Games: The Life and Times of Pearl McGill, Industrial Spy and Pioneer Labor Activist,” a true crime biography about Pearl McGill’s time living in Muscatine and working in a pearl button factory in the early 1900s.

Join us to hear from Jeffrey, ask questions, get your book signed, and take a look at the Pearl McGill display and other artifacts at the museum. This event is for patrons 18+ and teens accompanied by an adult.
