Please join us for the May Luncheon at Rendezvous. There will be a fashion show featuring members in spring attire. The meal will be a chicken fettuccine alfredo, salad, and dessert. The charity is the T.T.T. Society. The T.T.T. Society’s aim is to empower young girls through a transformative camping experience and mentorship. They aim to boost self-confidence, enhance self-esteem, cultivate leadership skills and guide positive life choices in young girls as they mature to become strong women. Please consider bringing an in-kind donation from the following list: BATH TOWEL, BATTERIES, BRUSH, COMB, DISPOSABLE CAMERA, EMPTY 2 LITTER BOTTLES; EMPTY 20 OUNCE BOTTLES, FLASHLIGHT, INSECT REPELLENT, LAUNDRY BAG, PAPER, PENCIL, PILLOW, PONCHO, RAINCOAT, SHAMPOO, SOAP, SLEEPING BAG, STAMPED ENVELOPE, SUNSCREEN, TWIN-SIZED SHEET SET, and/or WASHCLOTH.

At $15.00 per person which may be paid by cash or a check made out to “Newcomers”, we offer an AMAZING value for great food, great company, and great entertainment. THIS LOW PRICE IS ONLY ACHIEVABLE WITH OUR VARIOUS FUNDRAISING EFFORTS THROUGHOUT THE MEMBERSHIP YEAR!! If you have not already done so, please be prepared to pay our annual dues of $20.00 for the 205-26 membership year.

Reservations: To attend, please RSVP Yes by 5:00pm on Friday, May 16th.

Childcare: Provided for $5.00 per child, please add a comment with the RSVP stating your child’s name and age. Please drop your children off at Muscatine Church of Christ, 3603 North Mulberry Avenue, between 11-11:30am. Please pack a lunch for each child. PLEASE NOTE: Infants up to six months of age are welcome to accompany their mothers to the luncheon site.

Cancellations: If you need to cancel, please contact Nancy Nainis by email (muscatinenewcomers@gmail.com) or text (815-975-4239) BEFORE 8:00am on Monday, May 19th. Any cancellations after 8:00am will need to pay for the cost of the meal. Someone may bring your payment and pick up your meal if you are unable to attend.

Final RSVP by Friday, May 16th. **If you are needing to add your RSVP after 5:00pm on Friday afternoon you need to text Nancy, one of the 1st Vice Presidents, to tell her in person. We need to guarantee food for you and if you are bringing a friend, you must put her name down on Evite.

**Muscatine Newcomers & Friends Club holds a monthly social luncheon. It is held on the third Tuesday of the month from September through May.
