Crossroads Announces 2025 Residential Secure Shred Day – Convenient Drive-Through Document Disposal

MUSCATINE, IA – Crossroads invites community members to its fourth annual Residential Secure Shred Day on Wednesday, May 21, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. This convenient drive-through event at 1424 Houser St. allows individuals to securely dispose of up to 50 pounds of personal documents—all without leaving their car.

As a local nonprofit and AAA NAID-certified shredding provider, Crossroads is proud to offer the Muscatine community peace of mind with secure document destruction year-round. Residential shredding is available for a suggested donation of $0.50 per pound, with proceeds supporting services for seniors and people with disabilities.

Donations to Crossroads help close the gap in Medicaid funding, ensuring that individuals in our community can access the lives they want with the care they deserve. Crossroads is committed to staff training, engaging community outings, and keeping services affordable, including offering sliding scale fees for senior programs.

Participants are reminded to remove documents from binders before drop-off. Magazines, newspapers, and glossy paper cannot be accepted.
