Join the Muscatine Art Center as we celebrate the rehabilitation of the historic Japanese Garden on Thursday, May 2nd, with a ribbon cutting ceremony at 5:00 p.m., followed by a performance by storyteller Kuniko Yamamoto. Yamamoto’s performance combines Japanese folktales with traditional musical instruments, magical masks, origami, and mime to create a spellbinding story. Performance is part of the Quad City Arts Performing Artist Series. Admission is free of charge. Reservations not required. Light refreshments provided.
